Jobs Growth Wales+ (JGW+) is an exceptional training and development programme designed for 16–19-year-olds. It helps young people gain the skills, qualifications, and experience they need to progress onto an Apprenticeship, start their own business, or secure their dream job.

What we are looking for:

We’re looking for a passionate and creative Digital Skills Tutor to join our Jobs Growth Wales+ (JGW+) team. In this rewarding role, you’ll support young people who are not currently in education, employment, or training (NEET), helping them build confidence, learn new skills, and prepare for their future careers.

You’ll deliver engaging digital skills sessions—such as coding, graphic design, AI, content creation, and more—alongside essential skills in maths, English, and life skills. You will also deliver enrichment and wellbeing activities, arrange hands-on experiences, assess progress, and tailor learning to meet individual needs.

What we are looking for

Experience
Experience of teaching/delivery within a learning environment.
Experience of qualification delivery.
Qualifications & Knowledge
Good level of Maths and English GCSE C or above (spoken and written).
Confident at delivering a comprehensive digital curriculum.
Excellent IT skills with programmes such as Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
Work-based Learning Assessor Qualification (or willing to work towards)
Skills & Attributes
Able to relate to the needs of young people.
Able to work well with people at all levels.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Personal Qualities
