About JGW+:

Jobs Growth Wales+ (JGW+) is an exceptional training and development programme designed for 16–19-year-olds. It helps young people gain the skills, qualifications, and experience they need to progress onto an Apprenticeship, start their own business, or secure their dream job.

Our dedicated team are passionate about supporting learners to reach their full potential, ensuring each individual is guided and empowered every step of the way.

What you’ll do: 

Are you passionate about engaging and inspiring young people? We’re looking for a dedicated Skills Tutor to support learners on our Jobs Growth Wales+ (JGW+) programme.

Your role will focus on developing and delivering skills training and enrichment activities that provide learners with meaningful learning experiences, supporting their progression into employment or further education.

A background in sports, coaching, fitness or working with local teams is highly desirable, as many of our learners benefit from active, team-based engagement. If you have experience in organising sports activities or mentoring young people through clubs such as local football or rugby teams, we’d love to hear from you!

ACT is committed to promoting the Welsh language for both staff and learners, and whilst it is not considered essential criteria, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role.
