What you’ll do:
As our Digital, Media and Marketing Assessor, you’ll be at the heart of our mission. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Guiding Apprentices to Excellence: You’ll assess, train, and support learners pursuing Digital, Media, and Marketing apprenticeships. Whether they’re fresh-faced apprentices or seasoned business owners, you’ll be their guiding star.
Digital Immersion: Dive into the exciting world of spreadsheet software, data visualization, databases, website design, user experience, marketing and social media tools. Your expertise will light the way for our learners.
Journey Crafting: Craft exceptional learner experiences. You’ll ensure that every step of their apprenticeship journey is inspiring, impactful (not only for the learner but also the employer) and successful.
What we’re looking for:
Our ideal candidate is a digital virtuoso with:
Vocational Wizardry: You’ve wielded digital software at an advanced level. Your expertise from your vocational background (at least 3 years in Media or Marketing role) will be drawn upon at every opportunity to create a bespoke learning pathway for all your learners.
Passion & Drive: You’re here to ignite curiosity, spark creativity, and fuel ambition.
CPD Champion: You will champion learning by completing your own apprenticeship, by completing the Learning and Development or Digital Learning Practitioner Apprenticeship. You may already be assessor qualified in qualifications such as TAQA, D32/33, A1 etc. or equivalent (if not a commitment to complete an accredited qualification is required).
Wales Explorer: You’ll travel across Wales, meeting learners and their employers. Your own transport is a requirement.
Innovation Hub: Our Digital Services Team is a hotbed of creativity. Expect brainstorming sessions, cutting-edge tools, and breakthrough moments.
Route to Success: Reporting to the Route Manager, you’ll chart your course toward learner achievement. You will also utilise your people skills to develop working relationships with employers to maximise opportunities for learning pan Wales.
Face-to-Face Magic: Yes, you’ll deliver face-to-face workshops in our Cardiff-based training centre. Get ready to inspire and transform.
Celebrate Wales: We are committed to promoting the Welsh language for both staff and learners, and whilst it is not considered essential criteria, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role.
